Albert V. “Vergil” Tubaugh Sr., 88, of Bridgeport, OH passed away May 30th, 2019 at Forest Hills Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 21, 1930, in Warwood, WV, a son of the late Sherman and Lula (Stine) Tubaugh. Vergil was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, was a serviceman for Amerigas, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Marcella (Visnic) Tubaugh; children, Vergil (Marilyn) Tubaugh Jr. of St. Clairsville, OH, Kimberlee (Ron) Balog of Cranberry Township, PA; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Bruce, Jeffrey (Jill) Tubaugh, Severiano and Aniela Balog; great-grandchildren, Emma, Addie, John; two sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, June 6th at 11a.m. with Pastor Jerry Wenger officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove where Veterans services will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
