Carol L. Crook, 72, of Lansing, Ohio passed Monday, February 26, 2018 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born May 5, 1945, a daughter of the late Horace and Martha (Oberle) Drewett. She was a member of Lansing United Methodist Church where she was an adult Sunday School teacher, was a member of the Shadyside American Legion Auxiliary, Lansing UMW, was active in the Lansing Senior Center, and worked for REM in Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Crook, in 2012, a daughter, Mary Crook, sisters, Lillian Siculan, and Doris Cordery, and brother, Joseph Drewett. Carol is survived by her husband, George Dormstetter; children, Frank (Nicole) Crook of Adena, OH, Norman (Kendra) Crook of Jewett, OH, Eric (Erin) Crook of Bridgeport, OH; step-children, Sharon (Tom) Phillips of Glenford, OH, Ronald Crook Jr., and David Crook both of Wheeling; brothers, Horace Drewett of Martins Ferry, John (Linda) Drewett of Shadyside; grandchildren, Andrew Crook of Fl, Emily and Mike Littleton of Bellaire, OH, Alysa Crook of Lansing, Carter Crook of Adena, Rhonda Wesney, Jeff Leonard, and Kara Phillips, of Glenford, OH; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. Friends will be received Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1pm with Father John Mucha and Reverend John Jackson officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
