Dolly Slivinski Obituary

Dolly Lou Slivinski, 80, of Dillonvale, OH died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born December 2, 1937 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter to the late Charles and Mary (Burazio) Cecconi.    In addition to her parents, Dolly is preceeded in death by her brother Henry Cecconi, sister Lucy Buczawicz and nephew Richard Slivinski.

For 20 years, Dolly was the head cook at the Buckeye Local Southwest Middle School.  She was an avid fan of Buckeye Local sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.  Dolly enjoyed preparing family meals and opening her home to all guests.  Most of all, Dolly cherished spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph, daughters Jodee Dagrava (Kenny Kovack), Joyce Shope (Scott Larkin), Janice (Ben) Woods; grandchildren Jessica Dagrava, Jacob (Sharae) Dagrava, Zoe Woods, James Shope and nephew Robert Cecconi.

Dolly was a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church and according to her wishes there will be a Catholic Mass and inurnment at a future date.
