Dolores M. Hoyo 86, of Tipp City formerly of St. Clairsville, died Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Spring Meade Health Center Tipp City. She was born November 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Julia (Saxon) Hrdlicka and her step-father George "Cookie" Cook.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, a member of the CWC, and a former employee of Riesbeck’s Food Market St. Clairsville. Dolly loved baking, cooking,having lunch on Friday with her friends and she also loved polka dancing.
In addition to her parents and step-father she was preceded in death by her loving husband Ernest T. Hoyo in 2002, sister Betty Hrdlicka, and a brother Edward Hrdlicka.
Dolly is survived by her son James Hoyo of St. Clairsville, two daughters Susan (Ed) Purvis of Troy, and Valerie (Cy) Young of Westerville, five grandchildren Lauren (Joe) Faragalli, Leslie (Conor) Meeks, Eric (Angela) Purvis, Mallory and Taylor Young, and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday July 15, 2019 at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove with Fr. John Mucha officiating. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
