Harrie Lee Perko, 75, of Bridgeport died Monday, May 13, 2019 at Allegheny Veterans Hospital Pittsburgh.
He was born December 16, 1944 in Wheeling, a son of the late Frank and Creola M. (Covington) Perko.
Harrie was a Catholic by faith, and a veteran in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Phillip Michael Kinkus II; brothers, Kenny and Richard Perko; and sister, Arleen Matusik.
Harrie is survived by his children, Renee (Thomas) James, grandchildren, Lee, Shannon, and Katelyn James of Chicago, Melissa Perko, grandson, Joshua Perko of Wheeling, Marcie (Charles) Sell of Cadiz; four step-children, James, Vincent, Christopher (Michelle) Atwood, and Andrea Atwood Baker; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, his siblings, Frank (Mary Ann) Perko of Wheeling, Raymond A. Perko of Lansing, Kathleen (Fred) DePasquale of St. Clairsville, and Timothy (Sharon) Perko of Columbus.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, on Saturday May 18, 2019 from 2 p.m. till time of service at 4 p.m., with Rev. David Demarest officiating. Full military services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday by the Belmont County Veteran's Association.
