Howard Taylor Obituary

Howard E. Taylor Sr. 73 of Pleasant Grove, died Thursday March 1, 2018 at his home. He was born May 3, 1944 in Wheeling, a son of the late Howard E. and Violet May (Beaver) Taylor.

  He was a retired Courtier for PNC Bank, a U.S. Army Veteran. Howard loved electronics and was a Lionel Train enthusiast.

  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers James and William Lash, and a sister Carland Hall.

  Howard is survived by his loving wife Alice “Marie” (Bennett) Taylor, children Darlynn (Joe) Smigle of Farmington, Howard Taylor Jr. of Moundsville, and Frank (Liz) Taylor of Dillonvale, a brother Jack Lash of Bellaire, sisters Ethel (Chuck) Cork of Glen Dale, and Mary (Alfred) Gray of Canton, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

  Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Sunday March 4, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Monday at 11 am with Rev. James Hoff officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Full Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Moundsville American Legion.
