John Iadanza Obituary

John Raymond Iadanza, 89, of Pineyfork, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on September 3, 1929 in Dillonvale, a son of the late Patsy and Sarah (Orsillo) Iadanza.  John was a 1947 Dillonvale Highschool Graduate.  After his graduation, in 1951, he married the love of his life and his best friend Phyllis.  He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he worked for Lums Inc., in Miami, Fl, where he retired in 1980 as a Vice President. John was also a member of the American Legion. 

He is survived by his children, John and his wife Patricia Iadanza of Tallahassee, FL, two daughters, Dawn Angela Iadanza and her husband Aurelio Daniel Gonzalez of Tallahassee, FL and Phyllis Jean and her husband Charles Fry of Rayland; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Iadanza; grandchildren, John Patrick Iadanza, Jessica Trout, Amanda Iadanza, Matthew Joseph Iadanza, Vinny Iadanza, Nicholas Fry and Nina Fry; great grandchildren, Max Trout, Sadie Trout, Ayla Iadanza and Aaliyah Iadanza.  John was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 65 years, Phyllis (White) Iadanza on May 18, 2016; a son, Matthew Iadanza; 2 brothers, Angelo and Romeo Iadanza; 2 sisters, Rita Papadimitriou and Fiona Dahar; and 2 sisters-in-law, Ann Kujawa and Nan Tysko.

The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to the Kujawas and Tyskos and his devoted neighbor Tracy Anderson.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale is entrusted with the arrangements.
