John W. Sikora, 80, of Colerain, OH died June 30, 2019 at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 10, 1938, in Maynard, OH, a son of the late Charles and Rose (Janoski) Sikora. John was retired from Wheeling Wholesale where he was a truck driver for 34 years. He also worked for Lash Paving in Colerain, was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain and was in the United States Marine Corp.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Sikora; and sister, Mary Busack.
John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia “Patti” (Lucas) Sikora; children, Kevin (Paula) Sikora of Wheeling, Scott (Amy) Sikora of St. Clairsville; granddaughters, Kayleigh Woodfin, Kaleigh Sikora, Emilee Woodfin; siblings, Joseph “Sac” (Regina) Sikora of Martins Ferry, Nancy (the late James) Stropkai of Colerain, Stanley “Peezil” (Janet) Sikora of Colerain; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday, July 5th from 4p.m. until 8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 with a wake service being conducted at 7:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 6th at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain at 10a.m. with Fr. Timothy McGuire serving as celebrant. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove. Military services will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
