Margaret (Lukacs) Hardy

Margaret Hardy, 93, of Dillonvale, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born June 23, 1926 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Centek) Lukacs.  Margaret was a former member of the Dillonvale Eagles and the Dillonvale CSA.  She often talked of working during the 1940’s for Lionel Trains in New Jersey.

She is survived by her two daughters, Deanna Kleiman of Dillonvale and Melissa Hardy of Brooklyn, NY and a grandson, Christopher Beltran of St. Clairsville.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph Hardy in 1999 and two sisters and 4 brothers.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, service will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Rt. 150, Rayland, OH  43943 in her memory.
