Paul W. Crane

Paul W. Crane, 88, of Cadiz, OH went home to be with the Lord July 3, 2019.  He passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Paul was born March 18, 1931, in Moundsville, a son of the late Elmer E. and Leota M. (Hawkins) Crane. 

Bishop Paul Crane was a retired Pastor for the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Pleasant Grove where he served for 55 years.  He served as Superintendent for the Assemblies of Lord Jesus Christ.  He was also a volunteer firefighter for Mt. Pleasant where he served as past chief and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Paul is survived by his wife, Bertha (Tanner) Crane; children, Paul R. (Sherry) Crane of Adena, Cindy L. (Curtis) Tschappat of Adena, Cathy (Rich) Vincent, of Reynoldsburg, Michael S. (Angela) Crane of Zanesville; fourteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. 

Friends will be received Monday, July 8th from 2p.m. to 8p.m. at the Harbor of Hope Church, 67667 Warnock-St. Clairsville Rd., St. Clairsville, OH 43950.  Friends will be received Tuesday, July 9th from 10a.m. until time of service at 11a.m. at the Harbor of Hope Church with Pastor Dan Nelson officiating the 11a.m. service.  Entombment to follow at Holly Memorial in Pleasant Grove where services will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Bridgeport.
