William Albert Meigh

William Albert Meigh, 82, of St. Clairsville, OH died April 29, 2018 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born September 26, 1935, in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late William “Red” and Dorothy (Jones) Meigh.  He was a retired Journeyman for Flex Technology in Midvale, OH, was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea, was a member of American Legion Post #159 in St. Clairsville, Bridgeport Blue Lodge #181, and was a Methodist by faith.   In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ann Meigh, and grandparents who raised him, Albert and Jane (Hawkins) Meigh.   He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Wagner) Meigh; daughter, Marty (Chad) Baugh of St. Clairsville, OH; grandchildren, Cassi (Dustin) Hynes and Taylor Baugh; cousins, Elaine Jewell, Marilyn Kinnison; and special family member, Karen Jarvis.  Friends will be received Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 5-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, at 11am with Pastor Adam Davis officiating.  Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove where military honors will be presented by the Belmont County Veterans Association.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Rd., St. Clairsville, OH 43950, or Belmont County Animal Rescue League at PO Box 115 St. Clairsville, OH 43950.  To offer online condolences please visit wilsonfuneralhomes.com.
