Wilma L. Zelek, 89, of Adena, OH passed away May 24th, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 12, 1928, in Beallsville, OH, a daughter of the late John and Clara (Martin) Jarrett. She was a homemaker and was a Methodist by faith. Wilma, along with her husband of 70 years, spent their time working hard on the family farm, were wonderful parents and loved their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zelek. Wilma is survived by her children; Larry (Teresa) Zelek of Adena, Joseph (Rose) Zelek of Dillonvale, Jean (Jim) Yates of Dillonvale, Wilma (Larry) Boroski of Rayland; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her buddy “Otis.” A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
