Obituary

Adelaide R. (Tunt) Maguire, 99, of Bridgeport, OH died Monday, February 19, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was born December 26, 1918 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Grace (Turley) Tunt.
She was a retired LPN from Martins Ferry Hospital, Martins Ferry. Adelaide was a member and treasurer for over 50 years at the former Lancaster Chapel United Methodist Church, Sunset Heights, OH and very active in her community.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Maguire, sisters; Lucille Morgan, Grace Bauers and Leah Schnell and brothers; Charles and Myron Tunt.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Benny) Provenzano of Colerain, OH, grandchildren; Carrie (Chris) Rudy, Lori Provenzano, Gina (Nick) Maurizi and Justin (Katie) Provenzano and great grandchildren; Caden, Trevor, Gianna, Isabella, Noah and Emma.
Friends will be received Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry where services will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Zelewicz officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
