AGNES "NIN" HODGKISS, 72, of Mingo Junction, died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville. She was born June 17, 1936 in Mingo Junction, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Bruno) Takash. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mingo Junction and was a past president of the Catholic Women's Club at the former Annunciation Church. Agnes loved to cook, camp at Tappan Lake and most importantly spend time with her loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hodgkiss; an infant daughter Crystal Ann Hodgkiss; a brother Frank Takash and a sister Dolores Flesher. Agnes is survived by a daughter Debra Pasquarella and her fiancé Tony Petrella of Mingo Junction; two sons Cliff Hodgkiss of Cleveland and Sam Hodgkiss of Weirton; a brother Jim Takash and his wife JoAnn of Boston, MA; a sister Maryann Montgomery and her husband Robert of Mingo Junction; seven grandchildren Shannon, Jason, Bonnie, Ashly, Nicole, Breanne and Arron; as well as two great granddaughters Jordan and Kaleigh. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Blaschalk - Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Ave., Mingo Junction, where Vigil services will be held at 6 pm. You are then invited to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy with Mass Friday at 10 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father James Dunfee as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
