Agnes (Filipponi) Oddis, 94, of Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Dec. 13, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born May 5, 1910 in Milano, Italy a daughter of the late Odoardo and Severgnini (Giuseppa) Filipponi. She is retired from the Martins Ferry Head Start program and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Patty Oddis, two brothers August and Charles Monfradi, and two sisters Annis Watson and Pauline Datoli. Surviving are a daughter Eileen Carroll and her husband Richard of Parachute, CO, five grandchildren: Greg Carroll and his wife JoAnna, Terrance Carroll, Susan DeFreece and her husband Scott, Elizabeth Juresich and her husband Kevin, and Robin Belcher and her husband Joseph, and two great grandchildren Jason Michael Carroll and Anna Marie Belcher. Friends will be received Fri. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Sat., Dec. 18, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Rosary devotions will be recited Friday at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 7:30 PM both in the funeral home.
