Alan Charlton 71, of Blaine died Sunday June 3, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born July 15, 1946 in Detroit, MI, a son of the late Harry M. and Margaret (Martin) Charlton.

He was a retired employee of Big Lot's Warehouse Columbus, a Veteran of the US Navy in Vietnam. He was a Methodist by faith, and a music enthusiast.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Alan is survived by his loving wife Linda (Etring) Charlton, his children Erma (Tim) Zann of St. Clairsville, Marcey (Dan) Wetzel of Mechanicsburg, OH, Matt (Kelli) Charlton of St. Clairsville, and Michelle (Rick) Hill of Titusville, FL, two brothers Richard (Clara) Charlton of Wheeling, and Dave (Virginia) Charlton of SC, a sister Sue McEndree of Crooksville, OH, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 5-8 pm.
