Albert J."Fuzz" Fiutem, 87, of National Rd., Bridgeport, OH died Wed., Feb. 18, 2004 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. He was born June 2, 1916 in Maynard, OH a son of the late Celeste and Virginia (Jeri) Fiutem. Fuzz was retired from the Martins Ferry plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Polish Club both of Wolfhurst, Lansing Sportsman Club, and the KSKJ Lodge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Fiutem. Surviving are his wife of 54 years Martha A. (Wengroski) Fiutem, two sons Jerry J. Fiutem and his wife Kathy of Colerain and Richard Fiutem and his wife Carolyn of Harrison, OH, a brother Ernest Fiutem of Bridgeport, four grandchildren, and a great grandson. Friends will be received Fri. 5-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Sat., Feb. 21, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst with Rev. Mark Froehlich officiating. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Rosary devotions will be recited Fri. at 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
