Obituary

Albert E. Hoffman, Jr., 68, of Bridgeport, OH, died Friday, October 20, 2017 at Liza's Place, Valley Hospice South, Wheeling, WV. He was born August 15, 1949 in Martins Ferry, OH, a son of the late Albert E. Hoffman, Sr. and Anna Marie (O'Connor) Hoffman.
He retired from Nickles Bakery of Martins Ferry and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Al was a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Jackie L. (Nichols) Hoffman, his daughter, Jennifer (Fred) Bennington of Lima, OH, a son, Mike Hoffman of Shadyside, OH, brothers; James (Karen) Hoffman and Edward (Kimberly) Hoffman both of Colerain, OH, and grandchildren; Lindsey Bennington and Lauren Hoffman.
Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. The family wants to give a special thank you to UPMC 4G ICU and Liza's Place.
