Albert J. Kubic, 84, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather died Wednesday February 16, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born September 14, 1926 in Blaine, Ohio, son of the late George and Rose Timko Kubic. Albert was retired from Wheeling-Pitt Steel Martins Ferry Plant, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, a Navy Veteran of WWII, 3rd degree member of the Knight's of Columbus #11195, and the VFW post #8848 both of Colerain. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother George Kubic, sisters Rose Agnes Koci, Margaret Frankovich, and Mary Ann McKay. Albert is survived by his loving wife of 58, years Rose Zbrzezny Kubic, five daughters Donna Nesbitt of Reynoldsburg, Joyce (David) Jingle of Bellaire, Carol (Danny) Truax of Richmond, Kathy (John) Criasia of Gettysburg, Pa. and Theresa (Joseph) Ostrowski of Auburn, Ind, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister,Irene (Edward) Slavik of St. Clairsville, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Sunday February 20, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, where prayer service will be held Sunday at 2:30 pm and Knights of Columbus service at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Rev. John Mucha officiating.Interment will be held at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Blaine. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave. Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
