Albert P. Trouten, 89, of Third St., Rayland, OH died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born July 6, 1919 in Deep Run, Martins Ferry, a son of the late Robert A. and Lelia Mae (Scheele) Trouten. He was a retired employee of Conrail. Albert was a Methodist by faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp, WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Dorthy Fonner. Surviving are his wife Glenna (Zeigler) Trouten, two sons Wayne (Kayleen) Trouten of Elko, NV, and Arnold (Ilona) Trouten of Yorkville, OH, a daughter Connie (David) Taylor of Bellaire, OH, a sister Leah Wilson of Wintersville, OH, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Van Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
