Albert W. ""Bill"" Zercher, 80, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died, Monday, December 31, 2007 at Ohio Valley Hospital, Wheeling, WV surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 9, 1927 in Bellaire, the son of the late Earl and Katherine Bert Zercher. Bill was a member of the Bridgeport Eagles, Bridgeport Forresters and International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He was an avid bowler and a 1945 Graduate of Bridgeport High School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Robert Nicola and a brother Earl Zercher. Bill is survived by his wife Virginia Longwell Zercher; son Charles Nicola and his wife Jo Ann of Naples FL; Three daughters, Evelyn Miller and her husband Brian of Bridgeport, Alberta Andrews and her husband David of Barnesville and Norma Bonfini of Bridgeport. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, where a funeral service be on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roger Murfin officiating. Interment will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
