Together Again: Alberta L. Krahel 85, of Bridgeport formerly of West Center St. went to be with her loving husband Walter on Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Lansing Heartland Nursing Home. She was born September 1, 1925 in Lansing, a daughter of the late James and Barbara Soyka Kucera. Alberta worked 50 years for the Bridgeport Eagles Bingo, she loved to bake, cook, and iron for husband and children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years Walter W. Krahel in 1989, six brothers Andy, Frank, Joseph, William, James, and Bedrick Kucera, two sisters Rose Hummel and Bea Herink. Surviving is a son: William A. ?Bill? Krahel of Carlsbad CA., a daughter: Betty (Art ?Butch?) Conaway of Bridgeport, a brother: Carl (Jean) Kucera of Laughlin NV., two sisters: Mary Sempirek of Dillonvale, and Ann Humphrey of Colerain, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday June 24, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held Saturday at 11 am with Msg.
