Alberta M. McKnight, 95, of Martins Ferry, OH, formerly of Bridgeport, OH passed over on May 3,2017 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. She was born March 16, 1922, a daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Dean) Frantz. Alberta often called Susie, loved playing games, with bingo and bunco being her favorites. Family gatherings often included a rowdy game of bunco. She loved and was loved by family and many friends and always enjoyed giving them small gifts. In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Harold K. McKnight, brother, Clyde Frantz, twin sister, Bertha Ruiter, granddaughter, Deborah (Debby) Haswell, and one son at birth, Harold F. She is survived by her children; Linda (Bud) Haswell of Martins Ferry, Bill McKnight of Wheeling, Luann McNickle of Pittsburgh, Wendy (Mike) McIntyre of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Kestin McNickle, James "Jim" Haswell, Katrina Bates, Karman Rodgers, Andrew McIntyre, Ranae McIntyre; great-grandchildren, Cynthia, Kimberly, Garrett, Lindsay, Sophie; and great-great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jillian. Friends will be received Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 6-8pm and Sunday from noon until time of service at 3pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
