Alexander "Alex" Joseph Fedak, 17, of Short Creek, W.Va., passed Friday July 18, 2014 in Myrtle Beach, SC., as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Wheeling on April 21, 1997. Alex was entering his junior year at Wheeling Park in auto mechanics; played football, track, and wrestling at Warwood; junior soccer and baseball at West Liberty. Alex is survived by his parents Kevin and Lamprine Marie (Orend) Woodford of Shortcreek, with whom he resided; sisters: Haley Ritter, Lauren Woodford and Angelina Woodford; a brother Kevin Woodford, all of Shortcreek; grandparents Carol Woodford of Cadiz; Tom Woodford of Martins Ferry, Sally and Fred Orend of Bridgeport, Jeff and Glenda Fedak. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home,920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, and also on Friday July 25, 2014 at West Liberty Christian Church, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
