Obituary

Alex B. Kenzora, 92, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born December 7, 1924 in Blaine, OH a son of the late Martin and Sophia (Wach) Kenzora.
Alex retired from the former Scott Lumber Co., Lansing, OH and was a member St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, brothers; Leo, Frank and John Kenzora, sisters; Katherine Samol, Estell Dixon, Mary Vendlinski, Edith Kralovic, Frances Kyanko and Helen Kenzora (Sister Joseph of Mary).
Surviving are his wife, Agnes (Preslin) Kenzora, his daughter, Margaret DeBlasis of Wheeling, grandchildren; Gina (Carl) Kinder and Justin (Jen) DeBlasis and great grandchildren; Owen and Kade DeBlasis and Gavin Kinder.
Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Wednesday from 2-7 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
