Alex L. Ronevich, Jr., 81, of Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. He was born Nov. 3, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, OH a son of the late Alex Ronevich, Sr. and Bessie (Chmelovsky) Ronevich.

He was retired from the Consol Coal Company and a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann (Marquardt) Ronevich.

Surviving are his children; Jeffrey (Patty) Ronevich of Martins Ferry, OH and Marcie L. Ronevich of Lansing, OH, brothers; Charles Ronevich of Cleveland, OH, Mike Ronevich of Mt. Pleasant, OH and Jack (Nancy) Ronevich of St. Clairsville, OH, sister, Jackie Sawchuk of Colerain, OH, grandchildren; Tausha, Lacey, Lance, Alex, Luke and Derrick and five great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. William Webster officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Belmont County Veteran's Association will conduct military honors Saturday at 1:45 p. m. at the funeral home.
