Alfred Trouten, 87, of Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., Dec. 6, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Mar. 29, 1919 at Deep Run in Martins Ferry a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Owens) Trouten. He was retired from East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. Alfred was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Marines WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James and three sisters Lena, Ella and Velma. Surviving are his wife Virginia I. (Lee) Trouten, a son James A. Trouten of Martins Ferry, a daughter Lou Ellen (Ralph) Pell of Mourgantown, WV, a sister Ruth Barries of Martins Ferry, and four grandchildren Devon and Katelyn Trouten and Loniann and Laurel Pell. Private graveside services were held at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating.
