Alfred Williams, 63 of Bellaire, passed away Monday, September 28th at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born on April 10, 1963, in Martins Ferry, the son of Geraldine Williams of Bellaire and the late Harold Freeman.

He was a self-employed handyman. If the only measure of a human’s life were time, it would seem short, but when measured in memorable moments and love Alfred’s was infinite. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bulls, and Michael Jordon fan. He taught us that love and perseverance can overcome many of life’s obstacles, despite all the challenges he faced he remained positive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Freeman.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Geraldine Williams, his son Zac Vargo, siblings, Robie (Sherry) Williams, Deandra Dawn McCann, Tonia Ann Williams, Margaret Ann Williams, Kristina Renee Williams, Darlia (Randall) Ruth, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 4th from 1pm to 5 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH. Funeral Service will be Monday, October 5th at 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
