Alice Mae Atwood, 83 of Dillonvale, OH passed away on Thursday, March 8th, 2018 in the Golden Oaks Residential Board and Care Center, Follansbee, WV.  She was born in Bethel, PA on February 2nd, 1935 a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Brown) Hayman.  Alice along with her late husband were co-founders of the Atwood Home in Dillonvale in 1976 and was Methodist by faith.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband H. "Bill" Atwood in 2016; a daughter, Monica Custer; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  Alice is survived by her 2 daughters, Alice (Jess) Pugh of Dillonvale and Lee Ann Lewis of Carrolton, OH; a son, Howard D. Atwood of New Philadelphia, OH; 2 sisters, Ida Cominski of Rayland and Violet Cunningham of Alabama; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received Monday, March 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH where funeral service will be held, Tuesday at 11am with Reverend Thomas Schrader officiating.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.  To offer online condolences please visit www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com
