Alice V. Ayers, 75, of Adena, OH died November 16, 2017 at Liza's Place. She was born May 7, 1942, in Barton, OH, a daughter of the late James and Virginia (Whorrell) Ayers. She was an employee at the former People's Bank in Martins Ferry, retired from the Citizen's Bank in Martins Ferry, was a member of the Harrisville Ruritan, and a member of the Barton United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Clara Probst. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Monteleone of Colerain, OH; nieces, Judy (Michael) Kinnick of St. Clairsville, OH, Lois (Rob) Marshall of Indian Head, MD, and Amy (Marty) Barnes of Bridgeport, OH. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 22, at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Reverend Henry Mooney co-officiating.
