Alice Viola "Vi" Hanson, 96, of Bridgeport, OH died April 23, at Rolling Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born February 1, 1923, in Lowden, IA, a daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Harding) Barnes.  Alice was a retired executive secretary for Wheeling National Bank, was a member of the former Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church, a member of the Christian Fellowship Council, A.A.R.P Bridgeport Chapter 2790, and Bridgeport Chapter 452 Order of the Eastern Star,  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hanson Jr.; sisters, Mary Kerns, and Ruth Peterson; and son-in-law, Leo Kalinowski.  She is survived by her son, Kenny Hanson of Bridgeport; daughters, Sharon Kalinowski of Bellaire, OH, Barbara (Gary Hickenbottom) Hanson, of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.   Friends will be received Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd.
