Alice F. Walker (Newell), 75, of Dillonvale, OH passed Friday March 2 ^nd , 2018 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born May 1 ^st , 1942, in Piney Fork, OH, a daughter of the late Louis and Elvira Benedict. As well as a retired bus driver, she was a seamstress many years of her life. Alice was a Christian by faith, member of SERS, loved cooking, motorcycles, car shows at Myrtle Beach, and could run circles around any 16 year old. Surviving are her beloved husband, John D. Newell Sr. of Dillonvale, OH; daughter, Krysta (Gary) Millhorn of Richmond, OH; son, John (Jennifer) D. Newell Jr. of Dillonvale, OH; four grandchildren, Cortney A. Kavanagh, Brock L. Sanders, John D. Newell "#3", and Michael Millhorn; and brother, Louis (Judy) Benedict of Bethlehem, PA. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 4-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St. Dillonvale, OH where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am with Reverend Alan Gorby officiating.
