Alison Marie McFadden, 62, of Weirton, WV, left her earthly home to enter her heavenly reward on March 11, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Alison was born in Wheeling, WV on Easter Sunday, April 6, 1958 to Robert E and Dorothy A Ritner.

She grew up in Sunset Heights, a rural area, where she climbed trees, waded in the creek and played in the woods, with her siblings and neighborhood friends.

Alison graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1976 and married her husband, John H McFadden, in 1978. She worked at Ihlenfeld dining room at Oglebay Park and other local restaurants until the birth of their first child.

Alison attended The Brooke Hills Free Methodist Church and helped in various ministries. She especially enjoyed working with the children and baking for events. Alison was an encourager of others who were struggling. She shared her faith and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Alison was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Melanie, and her parents Robert and Dorothy Ritner.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John H McFadden. Son, Joshua McFadden and his wife Samantha, grandson, Aaron and granddaughter, Abigail of Kingsport, TN. Her daughter Heather and her husband Samuel LaMar and granddaughters Delaney and Kamdyn of Rittman, OH. Her sister Mary Ellen (Frank) Brown of Bridgeport, OH. Brothers, Robert (Traci) Ritner of Wheeling, WV and Brad (Lynn) Ritner of Ocoee, FL and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Sunday, March 14 from 2-5 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Steven Hlatky and Daniel Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
