Allen R. Jackson, 61, of Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Sept. 24, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Sept. 30, 1945 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Robert E. and Nettie (Guinn) Jackson. He was retired from the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and a veteran of the U. S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas E. and Robert C. Jackson and a sister Elizabeth Ray. Surviving are his wife Rebecca A. (Smith) Jackson, two daughters Glenay (Scott) Robinson of Bellefontaine, OH and Janeen Jackson of Powell, OH, a son Nathan Jackson of St. Clairsville, OH, a brother James Jackson and a sister Mary Jackson both of Martins Ferry, and four grandchildren Brandon, Brieann, Amber, and Trevor Robinson. Friends will be received Tuesday, 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James Agnew officiating.
