Alma R. "Snook" Tucker, 85, of Hickory St., Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Oct. 2, 1925 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late General John P. and Ruth Y. (Beck) Tucker. Alma retired from the M. Marsh & Son Tobacco Company, Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Arthur, Haskell, and William Tucker, and two sisters Lois Tokes, and Martha Walling. Surviving are a brother Raymond Tucker of Wheeling, WV, a niece Marjorie L. (Tom) Roberts of Martins Ferry, OH, many additional nieces and nephews, two great nephews Thomas K. (Tiffany) Roberts, and Todd K. (Sharon) Roberts both of Martins Ferry, and three great great nephew and nieces Thomas J. Roberts, Elisabeth Ann Roberts, and Alexandra Danielle Roberts. Private graveside services were held by the family at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating.
