Andrew Michael Deitch

Andrew Michael Deitch, 64, of Harrisville, OH, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home. He was born and raised on March 1, 1962, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond E. and Mary E. (Thomas) Deitch.

He and his wife owned and operated Deitch Hauling Company for 46 years and he retired after almost 30 years with Belmont Metropolitan Housing Authority. He was a reborn Christian and enjoyed attending Bellaire Christian Church.

Andrew was the devoted husband to his wife Monica, sharing a deep and abiding love that was the foundation of their family. He loved playing guitar, camping with his family, classic cars, and trucks, and loved being a Pap Pap most of all. He was a man who knew no strangers. As a loving husband and father, and Pap Pap, he poured his heart into raising his children, ensuring their home was always a place of warmth and comfort. He was a faithful follower of Jesus who has lead worship and wrote, sang, and played many songs given by the Lord with his guitar and harmonica.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles “Chuck” Fox, John Fox and sister, Bonnie (Fox) Papp.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Monica (Papp) Deitch, children, Joshua M (Aimee) Deitch. and Sarah A. (Jacob) Howard, grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan (Lili), Emme, Hazey, Ivy, Isaac, Jennie, and Luke, 3 great-grandchildren, his sister, Mary Sue Canter, and beloved cat, “Mosey”, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.

Family and friends are invited to “A Celebration of Life” that will take place on June 18th from 4-6 with Funeral Service at 6pm, at Bellaire Christian Church, 3565 Belmont St., Bellaire, Ohio 43906.

Flowers or keepsakes can be sent directly to the Church on the date of the memorial service.
