Andrew V. "Cookie" Kanyuh, 80, of Colerain, OH, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born April 14, 1931 in Martins Ferry, OH the son of the late Andrew J. and Norma (Gloeckner) Kanyuh. He was a retired self-employed painter and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry. Surviving are his sister Patricia Ann Kanyuh of Colerain. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, 11 am until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 12 noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 N. Fourth St., Martins Ferry, with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows at St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
