Andrew Michael Zurek Jr., 95, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed Monday January 26, 2015 at Autumn Health Care, Adena. He was born in Adena on December 24, 1919, a son of Andrew and Antonia Zurek. Andrew was a retired Coal Miner, a Catholic by faith, and a former member of Dillonvale Eagles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Skatula Zurek; and several siblings. Andy is survived by two sons: John (Chris) Zurek of Wheeling, W.Va., and Frank (Chris) Zurek of Dillonvale; grandchildren: Jill, Frankie, Sean, Lauren; great-granddaughters: Jordan and Julian. Friends will be received Saturday 12:00 until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio, with Rev. John Kolesar, officiating.
