Andy J. Golec Jr. 78, of Mingo Junction, died Monday February 21, 2011 at his home. He was born January 8, 1933, a son of the late Andrew Sr. and Hattie Cybulski Golec. He was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pitt Steel Mingo Plant, a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and a veteran of the Korean War in the US Air Force, PNA Lodge in Steubenville. Andy is survived by his wife Lorraine Ciafardone Golec, four daughters Andrea (David) Berrington of Sparks Nevada, Angela (Robert) Crowe of Wintersville, Regina (Jeff) Archer of Reno Nevada, and Tracy (Ernest) Dellatorre of Mingo Junction, two sisters Janice Wright of Weirton, and Pat (Alfonso) Zapolnik of Steubenville, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. At Andy's request there will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mt.
