Ann E. Newland, 102, of Martins Ferry passed away February 3, 2021 at her home.

She was born October 31, 1918 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Harry J. Adams Sr. and Elizabeth (Young) Adams.

Ann was a retired clerk for the former Eakins Pharmacy in Martins Ferry and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harry J. Adams Jr., and niece Joan C. Reed.

Ann is survived by daughter, Mary E. "Cookie" Duley of Martins Ferry; grandsons, Lee (Holly) Srock of Cherry Tree, PA, Robert A. (Denise) Srock of Mingo Junction, OH; nephews, Harry "Jay" (Larry) Adams III of St. Clairsville, James E. (Teresa) Adams of New Manchester, N.J., several great grandchildren; and several great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 6th from 11a.m. until time of service at 1p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935.  Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. with Reverend John Stammerjohn officiating.  Interment to follow at Parkview Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, WV.
