Ann (Crawford) Mullen, 75, of Bridgeport, OH died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire, OH. She was born Apr. 7, 1933 in Bellaire a daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Banig) Crawford. She was a retired bus driver for the Bridgeport Local School District with over 20 years of service and a Lutheran by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William W. Mullen, her daughter-in-law Beth Mullen, two brothers William and James Crawford, and two sisters Betty Blazek and Judy Varcalle. Surviving are her daughter Eleanor (Brian) Bolon of Pleasant Grove, OH, three sons William Jan (Debbie) Mullen and Jack (Tina) Mullen both of Bridgeport and Jim Mullen of Marietta, OH, two sisters Dorothy Littleton Crow of Bellaire and Eleanor Behres of St. Clairsville, OH, nine grandchildren Michael, Steve, Ryan, Tim, and Jonathan Mullen, Amy Francis, Ashley Thomas, Ken Bolon and Justin Chambers, and ten great grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
