TOGETHER AGAINSelak, Ann C. 90 of St. Clairsville formerly of Bridgeport died Monday July 2, 2012 at Forest Hills Retirement Center St. Clairsville. She was born September 9, 1921 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Antone and Agnes (Puntar) Strauss. She was a Volunteer for Wheeling Hospital for 26 years, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, and the Catholic Daughters of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Bridgeport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank R. Selak in 2003, two brothers Frank and Joseph Strauss, four sisters: Mary Strauss, Rose Strauss, Pauline Arajakis, and Betty Benedetto. Ann is survived by her son Bob Selak and his wife Donna of Cincinnati, a granddaughter Dawn Selak, four nephews Jack (Nancy) Selak, Ken, and Rick Strauss and Anthony Benedetto, brother-in-laws Bud Benedetto, and Joe Selak, and a sister-in-law Ann Selak. Friends are invited to a celebration of Ann's life on Thursday July 5, 2012 from 10 am till time of service at 11 at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, with Fr. Michael Gossett officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Following the interment there will be a Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church 226 W.
