Ann A. Worwa, 89, of Dillonvale, OH, passed Sunday October 8, 2017 at Adena Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ann was born March 26, 1928 in Maynard, OH, the daughter of the late Peter and Sophia Wodarcyk.

She was a retired employee of the Willow Restaurant and McGraw Nursing Home, a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale and a member of the Mount Pleasant Fire Department Ladies Aux.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Worwa and a son Francis Leonard Worwa, a brother Joe Wodarcyk, two sisters Mary Shields and Rose Gansler.

Ann is survived by her daughter Cyndee (Albert) Caraway of Mount Pleasant, OH; two granddaughters: Stacy (Bruce) Teater of Bridgeport, OH, BreAnna Caraway of Neffs, OH, two great grandchildren: Brett and Sophia Teater; brothers: John (Mary Donna) Wodarcyk of St. Clairsville, Pete (Carol) Wodarcyk of Hartville, OH and Francis (Charles) Gilli of St. Clairsville, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday 2 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, OH, where vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Thursday October 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Msgr. John C. Kolesar officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
