Anna Rita DeBacco, 88 of Mingo Junction, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center West. She was born May 28, 1919 in Mingo Junction, a daughter of the late John and Susan Yus Soltis. Anna was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. DeBacco Sr.; a daughter, Elizabeth Call; a grandson Jeffrey Vargo; a brother, Matthew Soltis; five sisters, Frances Ernest, Rosemary McGrew, Catherine Soltis, Zita Gould and Judith Goodrich. Anna is survived by two sons, Ralph J. DeBacco Jr and James DeBacco and his wife Glenna both of Mingo Junction; a daughter, Diane Martin and her husband Ed of Conway SC; 5 grandchildren, Jason Vargo, Michael Martin, Amy Martin, Stephen DeBacco and John DeBacco; 7 great-grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday at the Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Ave. Mingo Junction, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a vigil service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Tim Shannon as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
