Anna Gereb Anna Nagy Gereb, 90, of N. Lake St., Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Seabrights Ln., Martins Ferry, OH died Tue., Mar. 19, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles, CA. She was born Mar. 21, 1911 in Halmeag, Hungary a daughter of the late Peter and Ilona Varga Nagy. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall of Yorkville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Gereb, three sons Andrew G., Jr., John D., and Steven E. Gereb, three brothers Peter, Laszlo, and Sandor Nagy, and a great grand daughter Jessica McGuinn. Surviving are a daughter Anna E. Fokianos and her husband John of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter-in-law Darlene M. Gereb of Martins Ferry; four granddaughters Nancy A. Baker, Rebecca A. Lyons, Debra Delgado, and Dana Carrera; six great granddaughters Amanda M. and Rachel L. Konis, Maggie Gilpin, Michelle Murphy, and Elizabeth and Eileen McGuinn; a great-grandson Nicholas Delgado; three great great grandchildren Emily E. and Sarah A. Murphy, and Samuel M. Gilpin; a nephew Matthew Moldvan; a grandnephew Matthew; a cousin George Grepaly ; and many relatives in Hungary and Transylvania, Romania. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Saturday 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Yorkville, OH at 3:30 PM with Elder Michael E. Roshak presiding. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
