Anna Irene (Jacob) Noble, 84, of Martins Ferry, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born on October 11, 1938, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Mike and Mary (Szabo) Jacob.
Anna was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry. She was a former employee of the Martins Ferry Times Leader, and Bodnar and Sons Florist, and retired from Jacob and Sons Meats. Anna was also a member of the Hungarian Culture Society, the Martins Ferry Football Mom's; an avid Martins Ferry Purple Rider fan and enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Franklin Noble; a daughter Lori (Rich) Brothers; three sons, Chris (Meg Ann) Noble, Craig (Lorene) Noble and Steve (Jonathan) Noble; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Bodnar and Marsha Simon; a brother, Mike Jacob; and twin granddaughters, Erica and Monica.
Friends may call Friday from 4-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am in St. John's Lutheran Church, 40 N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, with Beth Medlyn officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
