Anna L. Monteleone, 83, of Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at Forest Hills Retirement Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Apr. 19, 1931 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Carmelo and Ermina (Orsine) Monteleone. She was retired from Stone & Thomas Shoe Department, Wheeling, WV. Anna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Anthony and Frank Monteleone. Surviving are her sisters; Mary Carlier of Adena, OH, Betty Marx of Cadiz, OH and Cathy (Mick) Zingo of Colerain, OH, brother, Carmelo (Emma) Monteleone of Hopedale, OH, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece. Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Friday 2-8 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Wake services will be recited Friday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
