SNEZIK, Anna Lagowski, 96, formerly of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Friday October 12, 2012 at Forest Hills, St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was born in Bellaire, Ohio on September 23, 1916, a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Tokarz Lagowski. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church; Bridgeport Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary; and the C.W.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Peter Snezik; two daughters: Donna J. Britton and Marlene Frances Snezik; two brothers: Adam and Joe Lagowski; sisters: Stella Chervenak, Edna Janovich, Blanche Gorshe, Helen Kownacki, Mildred Malley, Mary Chepukas. Anna is survived by two sons: Jim (Ranelle) Snezik, and Jerry (Beverly) Snezik; a daughter Brenda (Donald) Wamsley, all of Bridgeport; a brother John Lagowski of Bellaire; a sister Genevieve Winert of Calif.; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Bridgeport, with Rev. John Mucha, as celebrant.
