Anna Catherine Stahanczyk, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Thursday January 30, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born December 4, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Hermina Kavic Polomik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband August Stahanczyk; brothers: John, Steve, Albert and William Polomik; a sister Helen Polomik; and an infant daughter Shirley Ann Stahanczyk. Anna is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday February 4, 2014 from 10:30 until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, with Rev. John Mucha, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio.
