ANNA M. STOPSKI, 83, of Martins Ferry, died Wednesday, August, 6, 2008 at her home. She was born May 27, 1925 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Sesto and Emma (Vitali) Marsili. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Stopski; a brother Enio Marsili and a sister Matilda Nidel. Anna is survived by a daughter Emma Thayer and her husband Joseph of Lansing; a brother Clement Marsili of Brilliant; three sisters Esther Panepucci and Emma Jean Hood both of Dillonvale and Louise Walling of Gaithersburg, MD; four grandchildren David, Joey, Shannon and Charlene; as well as ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 4 pm until the time of Anna's funeral services at 6 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, with Reverend Karen Upson officiating. Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.
